Kitra Apps: How to Install, Manage, and Remove Integrations

Kitra becomes more powerful when connected to the tools you already use.

The Apps section allows you to install and manage integrations such as calendars, video platforms, and workspace tools directly inside your Kitra workspace.

Without integrations, Kitra schedules.
With integrations, Kitra automates.

Accessing the Apps Section

To manage integrations:

  1. Navigate to the left sidebar

  2. Click Apps

  3. Choose either:

    • App Store (to install new apps)

    • Installed Apps (to manage active integrations)

App Store Overview

The App Store is where you connect external tools to Kitra.

The page displays integrations in a grid layout.
Each integration appears as a card containing:

  • App icon

  • App name

  • Short description

  • Details button

You can scroll through available apps or search using the search bar at the top.

At the bottom of the page, you’ll also find a “Request Integration” option if the app you need is not currently available.

Installing an App (Step-by-Step)

To install an integration:

  1. Go to Apps → App Store

  2. Click Details on the app you want to install

  3. Click Install

  4. Authorize access

  5. Confirm permissions

Once installed:
  • The integration becomes active immediately

  • Sync begins automatically

  • The app appears in the Installed Apps section

Important:
Kitra only accesses the permissions you approve during authorization.

Installed Apps Overview

The Installed Apps section shows all active integrations connected to your workspace.

To access it:

  1. Go to Apps

  2. Click Installed Apps

Here you can:

  • View connected apps

  • See installation status

  • Click Details

This section gives you full control over all active connections.

Removing an Installed App

If you no longer need an integration:

  1. Go to Apps → Installed Apps

  2. Click Details

  3. Select the uninstall or disconnect option

  4. Confirm removal

After removal:

  • Kitra stops syncing with that platform

  • Automatic actions (such as calendar sync or meeting link creation) will stop

  • You can reinstall the app at any time

Best Practices for Managing Integrations

To keep your workspace stable and organized:

  • Install only the apps you actively use

  • Connect your primary calendar first

  • Test a booking after installing a new integration

  • Periodically review installed apps

  • Avoid connecting duplicate calendars unless necessary

Why Integrations Matter

Integrations allow Kitra to sync with your external tools so bookings, events, and notifications happen automatically.

With the right setup:

  • Availability syncs automatically

  • Events are created automatically

  • Meeting links generate automatically

  • Reminders send automatically

  • Teams stay informed

The goal is simple:
Reduce manual coordination and let Kitra handle the operational layer.

In the next section we will move from general Apps overview → to deep, app-specific guides.
