Kitra Meeting Notes Library & Settings Guide

Kitra Meeting Notes helps you capture, organize, and manage your meetings in one place.
This guide focuses on two main areas:

  • The Meeting Notes Library

  • The Notetaker Settings

For detailed explanations of what happens inside a specific meeting note (audio, transcript, summary, etc.), see the dedicated guide.

Meeting Notes Library

To access your meetings:

Go to
Notes → Meeting Notes

This opens your Meeting Notes Library,  your central hub for all recorded meetings.

What You’ll See

Inside the library, you can:

  • View all captured meetings

  • Search past notes

  • See the meeting source (Google Meet / Zoom)

  • Check the status (Ready / Failed)

  • Open any meeting

Each meeting appears as a row with basic details like date, duration, and status.

If no meetings are recorded yet, you’ll see a message prompting you to connect your calendar or start notes manually.

Starting a New Recording

From the Meeting Notes page, click:

Invite Kitra Notetaker

You can paste a Google Meet or Zoom link and start notes manually.

Once the meeting ends, it will appear inside your Meeting Library.

Notetaker Settings

To configure how Kitra joins your meetings:

Go to:
Notes → Notetaker Settings

This is where you control automation, permissions, and summary behavior.

Calendar Connections

You can connect:

  • Google Calendar

  • Outlook Calendar

Connecting a calendar allows Kitra to detect meetings automatically and stay organized by event.

If meetings are not appearing correctly, you can refresh your connection.

When Should Kitra Join?

Choose how Kitra behaves:

  • All video calls
Joins any meeting with a Meet or Zoom link

  • Meetings I host
Only joins meetings where you are the organizer

  • Manual only
Kitra never auto-joins — you start notes manually

Choose the option that matches your workflow.

Domain Restrictions (Optional)

You can restrict Kitra to only join meetings with specific email domains.

If left empty, it can join meetings with anyone.

Summary Email Settings

You can control who receives meeting summaries:

  • Email the summary to yourself

  • Email everyone who attended

Click Save after making any changes.
